Fundraiser Site - Temporary Site for Online Ordering

Why do I need a fundraiser page?

Over the last few years we have had multiple requests for a fundraiser shopping page as many fundraiser groups have friends and family out of state that would also like to order items. To speed up the process my clients wanted a website for outside orders, easily processed, that can be added to the existing fundraiser. We created this site to address these wishes.

We created a website with all the product items and an online order form for those items.

How does it work?

  • Each Consultant would setup his/her fundraiser as usual with the BONUS of having an online ordering option for those out of town or busy customers.

  • Each Consultant will have their OWN page - One page per fundraiser so they can keep the fundraiser totals separate. [Example: http://fundraising4fun.com/sample]

  • If you have more than one fundraiser event then I will make a welcome page listing them in order. Customers will click on which fundraiser to open, which will open correct order form.

  • Need to add a fundraiser in middle of month, no problem. Just email me the info and I will have it loaded within 72 hrs.

Promoting the site:

Begin the fundraiser as usual, big fundraiser rally, party, or info meeting. Make up a bonus flyer that you add into the fundraiser packets that says something along the lines of:

Thank you for participating in our ________ fundraiser. We know that you have a very busy lifestyle and would like to offer you, your friends and family, and neighbors the opportunity to order your Tupperware Fundraiser items ONLINE. Just visit the website below to view our Fundraiser Line and order using our Secure Shopping Form. Be sure to give your student/participant credit and feel free to share the page with friends and family using our easy share button located on the website. We look forward to helping your organization with their fundraising needs. Feel free to email or call me with any questions.

Processing Orders:

Tupperware lets you submit a fundraiser, but only ONE payment.

  • Collection of Money: Usually you would have all checks and monies made out to the organization. You would then be given a check from the organization to cover all monies collected. [OR] You would have all checks and cash collected by participants, deposit to your account, wait for them to clear.
    • Online Orders: You will receive a copy of their order. You can then collect funds as you see fit. In our example - you would request funds via PayPal.
  • Processing Orders: The Consultant would collect all order, process in Web Order Entry, and submit payment via credit card or freedom card. You would cut a check for the 40% commission from the same account and present check and product at fundraiser meeting.
    • Online Orders: Print off each order form as you receive them via email. Send request for funds from www.paypal.com login page.
  • Shipping to Out of Area Orders: These have been handled several ways; sent by relatives, sent by consultant, sent by friend.
    • Online Orders: We include a flat $6.95 direct ship fee. This will cover most if not all or Priority Mail shipping to out of area people. Options: Flat Rate Boxes or  rate calculator. Those who are local will have $2.00 flat shipping/handling fee applied to each online order. This is to cover your online costs for paypal and the website service. Paypal even offers a shipping label creator for each transaction. Just click and print.
  • Cost of Service: I charge a nominal $15 for two months of service no matter how many fundraiser pages you need during that time. This includes the complete fundraiser line with pictures and links to fundraiser catalog and a link to your my.tupperware page.
    • Online Fees: You will have an additional fee associated with paypal. (fees) currently .30 + 2.9% per transaction. [$1.46 per $40 order] This can be covered by a $2 S/H fee upon completion of online order.

     

    NOTE: PayPal will no longer be the final step on online fundraiser order forms (per Tupperware due to new terms of service and possible legal issues of collecting funds online). We have approval to use the new format with no PayPal or Credit Card information being retained. You may then collect funds in any way you see fit. For most - PayPal request funds may still be a great option as you can collect funds from Credit Cards or their Checking securely. We understand this may cause some problems for those who have run previous fundraisers with our company - but we must comply to the Tupperware terms of service to keep out clients privacy secure. We also understand that this new format will not work for all situations and you may need to run your fundraiser in the traditional way. This is an OPTION provided by our company. You can choose to use the service (as provided) or run it traditionally as you see fit.

Lets Get Started!

  • Setup a BUSINESS PayPal account and confirm your email address with them. You will need this to "request funds" from order forms.

  • Visit www.siteimpressions.com and fill out fundraiser form. Pay fee with PayPal and make sure to give me a launch date to upload your site

  • Create and distribute flyers for your fundraiser participants to highlight your online shopping form.
